How to Use This Calculator

Enter the raw scores and totals from the exact practice test. Keep 50/50 weights for the current AP Biology exam structure or edit them for a teacher-created test.

Formula & Methodology

Each section percentage is multiplied by its entered weight. The weighted points are divided by the total weight to produce the practice-test percentage.

Worked example

Scoring 42 of 60 MCQs and 28 of 40 FRQ points gives 70% in each section and a 70% weighted practice-test score with equal weights.

Practice materials differ in difficulty, point totals, rubrics, and alignment with the official exam. A teacher may also apply a curve or custom scoring policy.
