OSRS combat style contributions

Old School RuneScape compares three combat style contributions when calculating combat level: melee, ranged, and magic.

Melee is based on Attack and Strength. Ranged is based on the Ranged level, and magic is based on the Magic level.

The calculator does not add all three style values together. Instead, it uses whichever contribution is highest.

For example, a ranged-focused account can gain Ranged levels without Attack or Strength determining the combat style portion of its combat level, as long as the ranged contribution remains higher than the alternatives.

Defence, Hitpoints, and Prayer are handled separately as part of the base combat contribution.
