How to Use This Calculator
Use code 1 for enlisted and code 2 for officer. Enter meal deductions only when you know an applicable monthly amount. BAS is for the service member, not dependents.
Formula & Methodology
The calculator uses the 2026 published monthly BAS rates: $476.95 for enlisted members and $328.48 for officers, then subtracts entered meal deductions.
Example: enlisted BAS with no deduction
An enlisted member with no entered meal deduction receives an estimated $476.95 monthly and $5,723.40 annually.
