How to Use This Calculator
Find the current monthly basic-pay table amount for your grade and longevity. A standard four-period drill weekend is commonly entered as four drill periods.
Formula & Methodology
One drill period is estimated as one-thirtieth of monthly basic pay. Total drill pay equals monthly basic pay divided by 30, multiplied by paid drill periods.
Example: four drill periods
A $4,500 monthly basic-pay amount produces $150 per drill period and $600 for four periods.
This tool does not select a DFAS pay-table cell, calculate taxes, bonuses, special pays, retirement points, lodging, travel reimbursement, or unpaid drills.
