How to Use This Calculator
For a term-only result, leave current GPA credits and cumulative GPA at zero. For a projected cumulative result, use the institutional GPA credits and GPA shown in One.IU. Leave out transfer and non-GPA coursework.
Formula & Methodology
Each course contributes grade points equal to grade value multiplied by course credits. Term GPA equals term grade points divided by graded credits. Projected cumulative GPA combines current grade points with the new term.
Example: 45 GPA credits at 3.20
With 45 GPA credits at 3.20, current grade points equal 144.00. Add the new term grade points and credits, then divide combined grade points by combined GPA credits.
