How to Use This Calculator
Use a probability that matches the exact cube, region, potential tier and desired outcome. Enter 1 for a 1% chance, not 0.01.
Formula & Methodology
The probability of no success after n independent attempts is (1 − p)^n. Therefore, the probability of at least one success is 1 − (1 − p)^n. Expected successes equal n × p.
Example: 100 attempts at a 1% success rate
With a 1% chance per independent attempt, 100 attempts have about a 63.4% chance of producing at least one success. This does not guarantee a success.
Results are planning estimates. Game mechanics, rates, caps, regional versions, servers, seasons and event rules can change.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the expected number of cubes guarantee success?
- No. It is a long-run average. Any individual cubing session can finish earlier or take much longer.
- Can I use official or community cube rates?
- Yes, but use a rate that matches your region, cube type, current potential tier and exact target outcome.
- Why does 100 attempts at 1% not equal a 100% chance?
- Each attempt can fail. The correct cumulative probability is 1 minus the probability that every attempt fails.
