How to Use This Calculator

Select your current and target Fletching levels. Enter XP per completed action, materials used per action, actions per hour, material cost, other cost per action, and finished output value. Use current prices and a sustainable long-session rate.

Formula & Methodology

Actions needed equal XP remaining divided by XP per action and rounded up. Materials needed multiply actions by materials per action. Gross input cost combines materials and other costs. Gross output value multiplies actions by finished output value. Net cost is input cost minus output value. GP per XP divides net cost by XP remaining. Estimated hours divide actions by actions per hour.

How the OSRS Fletching Calculator Works

Fletching a repeatable item

If a Fletching action grants 75 XP and consumes one main material, enter 75 XP per action and one material per action to estimate actions and supplies for your target.

This calculator does not fetch live Grand Exchange prices or automatically distinguish cutting versus stringing bows, multi-item ammunition batches, darts, bolts, tipped ammunition, special processing, buy limits, tick manipulation, or every Fletching method. Use average values matching your method.

Old School RuneScape prices, methods, and achievable rates can change. Verify current XP values and item economics before buying supplies.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the OSRS Fletching calculator work?
It converts the difference between your selected current and target XP thresholds into method-specific actions using the XP and rate assumptions you enter.
Does it use live Grand Exchange prices?
No. Enter current prices or values manually so the assumptions remain visible and can be updated before a large training goal.
Why are actions rounded up?
A level goal normally requires completing the final whole action, so required actions are rounded up.
Can I use a different training method?
Yes. Replace the example XP, speed, material, success-rate, cost, and output assumptions with values for the method you actually plan to use.
Are the results exact?
The XP-threshold arithmetic is deterministic, but time, success rates, costs, yields, and profit depend on the method and assumptions entered.
