How to Use This Calculator

Select current and target Slayer levels. Enter average Slayer XP per completed task, average points per task, tasks per hour, average task cost, and average loot value. Use long-run averages that match your Slayer master, block list, extensions, skips, and combat setup.

Formula & Methodology

XP remaining equals target XP minus current XP. Tasks needed equal XP remaining divided by average XP per completed task and rounded up. Points earned multiply tasks by average points per task. Time divides tasks by tasks per hour. Total task cost and total loot value multiply their per-task averages by tasks needed, and net value subtracts cost from loot value.

Average-task Slayer example

If your goal requires 1,000,000 Slayer XP and your completed tasks average 15,000 Slayer XP, the calculator estimates 67 tasks after rounding up.

Actual Slayer XP, points, duration, supply cost, and loot vary heavily by task, Slayer master, streak, skips, blocks, extensions, boss tasks, superior creatures, combat style, and gear. This calculator uses user-entered long-run averages and does not fetch live prices or account data.

Use realistic averages from your own Slayer setup. Game updates, task weighting, points, prices, and combat performance can change actual results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the OSRS Slayer Calculator work?
It uses the values you enter and exposes the intermediate calculations so you can see how the Slayer estimate is produced.
Does it use live Grand Exchange prices?
No. Where prices matter, enter current values manually so the assumptions remain visible and easy to update.
Can actual results differ?
Yes. Rates, random outcomes, prices, route efficiency, account unlocks, and game updates can change real results.
Can I use different methods or assumptions?
Yes. Replace the example defaults with values for the exact activity, gear, route, or method you plan to use.
Are the results guaranteed?
No. The arithmetic follows the displayed formulas, but any estimate that depends on averages, probability, prices, or player execution can differ in practice.
