How to Use This Calculator
Enter visible levels for Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Prayer, Ranged, and Magic. The calculator floors half Prayer, compares the melee, ranged, and magic offensive components, then floors the final combat level.
Formula & Methodology
Base combat is 0.25 × (Defence + Hitpoints + floor(Prayer ÷ 2)). Melee is 0.325 × (Attack + Strength). Ranged is 0.325 × floor(Ranged × 1.5). Magic is 0.325 × floor(Magic × 1.5). Combat level is floor(base combat + the highest offensive component).
Balanced combat example
A player with 75 Attack, 75 Strength, 70 Defence, 75 Hitpoints, 70 Prayer, 75 Ranged, and 75 Magic is calculated using the highest of the three offensive contributions.
This calculator reports the standard player combat level. It does not optimize future builds, calculate exact levels until the next combat increase, model temporary boosts, or apply leagues/private-server rules.
Use visible base levels rather than boosted levels. Game mechanics can change, so verify unusual account-build edge cases.
