Formula & Methodology

Estimated departure date equals the report date minus authorized travel days, leave days, and permissive days.

Example: seven travel days and five leave days

For a report date of August 20 with seven travel days and five leave days, the estimated latest departure date is twelve days earlier.

This tool does not interpret orders, determine authorized travel time, calculate per diem, account for international date lines, or replace TMO and personnel guidance.
