Use official personnel systems
Locate your grade and Date of Rank in the current official personnel system or an authorized personnel product available to you.
Confirm that it is the A1C DOR
The BTZ calculation requires the Date of Rank for Airman First Class, not the date you entered active duty, arrived at your base, or expect to promote to Senior Airman.
Resolve discrepancies
If the record appears wrong, contact your CSS or MPF. Do not alter the date simply to make an online estimate look more reasonable.
After verification, enter the date in the USAF BTZ Calculator.
