Calculation method

The standard active-duty eligibility date is 20 calendar years after the entered service date. The longevity multiplier is estimated as creditable years multiplied by 2.5% for legacy plans or 2.0% for BRS.

Important limitations

This tool does not determine creditable service, sanctuary, disability retirement, reserve retirement, REDUX, service-specific approval, or an official retirement date.
