OSRS Agility Overview

Agility is trained by completing laps on rooftop or specific obstacle courses. Each completed lap awards XP; some obstacles also give partial XP. Agility affects run energy restoration rate — higher Agility means run regenerates faster, which benefits all combat and skilling.

Marks of Grace and the Graceful Outfit

Marks of Grace are collected by clicking them as they appear on rooftop courses. They disappear after ~10 minutes if not collected.

Graceful Outfit Cost (Total: 260 Marks): | Piece | Marks | Effect | |-------|-------|--------| | Hood | 35 | -3% run energy drain | | Cape | 40 | -4% run energy drain | | Top | 55 | -5% run energy drain | | Legs | 60 | -5% run energy drain | | Gloves | 30 | -3% run energy drain | | Boots | 40 | -4% run energy drain | | Full Set | 260 | -30% run drain, +10% regen rate |

The Graceful outfit's run energy restoration bonus makes it valuable for all content requiring sustained running. Most players prioritize getting it before 70 Agility.

Seers' Village with Camelot Teleport

At Seers' Village (level 60), you can use Camelot Teleport to skip running from the end of the course back to the start:

  • Without teleport: ~28,000–30,000 XP/hr
  • With Camelot Teleport (via Kandarin Hard Diary): ~45,000–55,000 XP/hr

The teleport ports you directly to the bank chest near the course start, cutting lap reset time dramatically.

The overall Agility journey from 1–99 takes roughly 200–300 hours depending on methods. It's one of the slowest skills in the game.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best Agility course in OSRS for XP?
Pollnivneach Rooftop (level 70) gives ~50,000 XP/hr and is the top course before Ardougne (level 90, ~46,000 XP/hr). Seers' Village with Camelot Teleport (Kandarin Hard Diary) can match Pollnivneach at 45,000–55,000 XP/hr. Ardougne at level 90 is the highest-level course but slightly lower XP than Pollnivneach.
How do I get Marks of Grace fastest in OSRS?
Canifis Rooftop (level 40) gives the most Marks of Grace per hour at approximately 16–18 marks/hr. Ardougne (level 90) also gives ~16 marks/hr at higher XP. The full Graceful outfit costs 260 marks — at Canifis rate, approximately 15–17 hours of concentrated training.
Does Agility help with anything besides run energy?
Yes — high Agility unlocks shortcuts throughout the game world (rooftop shortcuts, dungeon passages). Level 60 Agility unlocks Gnome Ball course. Various quest areas (Prifddinas, elite Slayer content) have Agility requirements. Energy restoration rate from 99 Agility is 2× faster than level 1.
How many laps does 99 Agility take?
At Ardougne Rooftop (793 XP/lap), 99 requires 13,034,431 ÷ 793 ≈ 16,435 laps. At Pollnivneach (890 XP/lap): ~14,645 laps. At Canifis (240 XP/lap): ~54,310 laps — considerably more laps but compensated by Mark of Grace accumulation.
