How to Use This Calculator
Select current and target Crafting levels. Enter XP per crafted item, materials per action, actions per hour, input cost, and output value. Use current Grand Exchange or ironman opportunity-cost values where appropriate.
Formula & Methodology
Actions needed are XP remaining divided by XP per action and rounded up. Materials equal actions multiplied by materials per action. Gross input cost equals actions multiplied by input cost. Gross output value equals actions multiplied by output value. Net cost equals input cost minus output value; a negative result represents expected profit.
Manual Crafting method
For a method worth 100 XP per item, 1,000 actions per hour, 2,000 GP input cost, and 1,500 GP output value, each action has a 500 GP net cost before market changes.
This calculator does not fetch live Grand Exchange prices, model buy limits, failed actions, secondary products, alchemy, spell costs, giant seaweed conversion, Superglass Make yield, or method unlock requirements automatically.
Grand Exchange prices and achievable rates change. Verify current item values and method requirements before purchasing supplies.
