How to Use This Calculator
Select current and target Cooking levels. Enter XP per successfully cooked item, the expected success rate as a percentage, attempts per hour, raw-food cost, cooked-food value, and any extra cost per attempt. Use 100% when the selected method cannot burn at your setup.
Formula & Methodology
Successful cooks needed equal XP remaining divided by XP per successful cook and rounded up. Required attempts equal successful cooks divided by success rate and rounded up. Expected burns are attempts minus successful cooks. Gross input cost equals attempts multiplied by raw-food and extra costs. Gross output value equals successful cooks multiplied by cooked-food value. Net cost is input cost minus output value. Hours equal attempts divided by attempts per hour.
Cooking with a burn chance
If you need 2,000 successful cooks and expect a 90% success rate, the calculator estimates 2,223 attempts and 223 burns after rounding.
Success rate is an estimate. The calculator does not automatically determine burn chance from Cooking level, range, gauntlets, diaries, Hosidius effects, fires, special foods, multi-output methods, or game updates. It also does not fetch live prices.
