OSRS ToA Loot Calculator

Model Tombs of Amascut loot using a verified personal or team purple chance from your current raid setup. This avoids presenting an invented invocation formula while still calculating exact independent-raid probabilities and expected value.

How to Use This Calculator

Enter the purple chance per raid as a percentage, planned raid count, your personal share of a team purple, target item's share of the unique table, average purple value, average common-loot value, raid time, and cost per raid.

Formula & Methodology

Personal purple chance equals team purple chance multiplied by personal share. Expected purples multiply personal chance by raid count. Cumulative chance of at least one purple equals one minus the chance of no purple across all raids. Target-item chance multiplies personal purple chance by the item's conditional share. Expected value adds purple EV and common-loot EV, then subtracts raid costs.

Using a verified purple rate

At a 2% personal purple chance over 100 independent raids, expected purples are 2 and the chance of at least one purple is about 86.7%. This does not guarantee two drops.

The calculator does not derive hidden ToA points or invocation scaling. Enter a verified personal or team purple chance for the exact raid setup. Officially published mechanics include a 64,000 individual-points cap and a 1,500-point minimum eligibility threshold, but points depend on raid performance. Item weights and prices can change.

Probability and expected value are long-run estimates, not guarantees. Verify current ToA mechanics, rates, item weights, and prices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I enter the purple chance manually?
ToA chance depends on points and raid performance. Manual verified input avoids pretending a simple invocation-only formula is exact.
What is personal share?
It is your expected share of team purple rolls, expressed as a percentage. Use 100% for a solo raid.
What does target-item share mean?
It is the conditional probability that a purple is the selected item, not the item's overall per-raid chance.
Are expected purples guaranteed?
No. Expected value is a long-run average and actual results can vary widely.
Does the calculator include common loot?
Yes. Enter average common-loot value per raid separately from purple expected value.
